I painted a circle around the title to highlight it and inked around the mat of my picture. Finally, I added stitching around the perimetre of the layout.

Happy Birthday Card357 viewsHeather's July Challenge project 2. Used the left overs from the parts of the July 2008 kit that I received to create this card. I added Bazzill Basics Chip toppers for message, Heidi Swapp circle bling, circles cut with a Coluzzle cutter, Glossy White Embossing Paste by Dreamweaver stencils and a metal stencil template to create the stencil in the bottom Left corner, coloured staples from the dollar store and vellum writer for the doodling.

What a fun kit this was! The picture was taken on the last day of Grade 2. I used Bazzill paper, Fancy Pants Creative Cards for the journalling, Making Memories Grommets, heidi swapp jewel brads, Urban Lily Number It, beige sewing thread, white acrylic paint and Clear Expressions Overlay. What a fun quick layout this was to make.

Live Out Loud March 2007 Challenge614 viewsThis Layout is a DaisyD rub on celebration. I love the different Daisy D products that are out there to create layouts I used Versa Mark on the little blue squares and on the green background to create subtle designs on plain Bazzill cardstock. The brief journalling was stamped using StazOn Jet Black, which will adhere to shiny surfaces like photos.

Sister's545 viewsI used Jill's Colour blocking technique on this layout. Bazzill paper, sei paper and paper from a "block" from Michaels. Journalling was done on a transparency with Alcohol inking on the back (Cranberry and Pearl). The "S" in the title Grunge Board (Ranger) with paint/ perfect pearls/ sanding, the rest of the letters stamped using a variety of making memories foam stamps (black acrylic paint with perfect pearl). A silver Krylon pen around the S to help it stand out. Heidi Swapp Bling to frame picture.

This Picture388 viewsHeather's Project. I love this photo of Bern's Mom and Alyssa. I just can't remember exactly when this photo was taken HMMM. I Used the July kit products that I received along with:
Bazzill Chip board Arrow. Used Ink and Ultra Thick Embossing Powder clear to create epoxy look (3 layers) with a bit of Perfect Pearl pewter powder for texture effect. Used miniMARKS by American Crafts for rub on in right corner. Used Vintage Brass eyelets & Snaps from WeRMemory Keepers for the dot on the "i". I used Glimmer Mist from Tatttered Angels Golden Terracotta colour to change the flower I used from bright yellow to rustic orange.
